How wonderful to come across such a worthwhile resource. With over 300,000 financial advisors out there at last count, how does one choose? I’ve asked God for wisdom many times over the years and He answered my plea. I was listening to the radio while cooking dinner and an ad came on about the Retirement Bible. I called for a copy and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. It is so full of wisdom that is backed by Scripture

It may be called “The Retirement Bible”, but it would be a valuable resource for young adults and the newly married that are establishing patterns in how they view the purpose of money and assets. The author’s use of timeless scriptures gives wisdom that has stood the test of time and can be applied to life’s issues regarding money. While “the love of money is the root of all evil” (I Tim 6:10) However, money is not evil in and of its self. The study of money, particularly of money mentioned in the Bible, is rich and rewarding. Not only did Jesus and the Apostles admonish Christians about the use of money, they also used it themselves and brought it into their teaching. In our uncertain economic times we tend to react in fear or greed while abandoning solid fundamentals. This book does not attempt to rescue people from uncertainly. Rather, it is focused on how to avoid falling victim to it in the first place.
This book synthesizes some of the best principles on financial advice and it thoroughly conveys the fundamentals that everyone needs. Some people never learn them while others tend to drift from their wisdom in search of more exotic answers.
Regardless of where you are in your journey of financial education I feel this is a solid course that should be a part of everybody’s curriculum.
